That Hoop Guy
Escalator Extravaganza
1 Hoop, Beginner/All LevelsThis class contains Mike’s entire knowledge of dissecting the escalator into it’s true components and base mechanics. The intention is to expose how escalator entries and exits are all around us when we hoop, the opportunities to drop into an escalator are endless. While a beginner could totally take this class and learn the basics, this class is also intended for people who are already familiar with escalators and want to explore all they have to offer. We will look at the two different macro-escalator directions, upwards and downwards, as well as the the four downward escalator entry variables that open up a world of body wraps. If you’re looking for something other than on-body-hooping that maintains contact with your body, please come to this escalator class.

Iso-Flower and Related Techniques
2 Hoops, Beginner/All LevelsIn this class we will tackle the difficult trick of the Iso-Flower and the concept of spinning two hoops in one hand. Mastering how to spin two hoops in one hand in the same time and split time will expand many hooper's multi-hoop repertoire. When we think of multi hoop hybrids with more than 2 hoops, most hoopers don’t typically consider using the iso-flower, so we will be experimenting with different ways to integrate this move into hybrids. We will learn how to do iso-flower anti-spins, cat-eyes, and different timing and directions to name a few things. In addition we will learn transitions into and out of the iso-flower which opens up new 2-hoop-in-one-hand moves.
